Service Order Dispatcher

General Summary: Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
• Prepares work order and distributes to service crew
• Schedules service call and dispatches service crew.
• Keeps record of service calls and work orders. Attaches time to jobs.
• May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• The work schedule is Monday- Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dispatch or similar customer service center position.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Previous experience using MAXIMO preferred. Must have familiarity with Excel.
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
• Strong decision making and analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic and team player mentality.

Work Environment:

• Be able to stand, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stretch for extended period of time.
• Be able to lift 25 lbs.
