Leadership Opportunity In Plant Operations

Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to oversee the strategic direction, business planning, and execution of plant operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal value for customers, employees, and shareholders while staying true to the company's culture and core values. The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Education and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with approximately 8 years in progressively responsible leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, ideally in an automotive setting.
• Key skills: Proven success in satisfying OEMs and Tier I suppliers, managing P&L, program management, new program launches, and continuous improvement. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Financial management: Responsible for managing the division's balance sheet and P&L, CAPEX, and operational budget. Committed to a data-driven approach to achieving performance targets and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Commercial strategy: Build strong customer relationships, drive alignment with stakeholders, and maximize profitability through effective quoting and cost management. Collaborate with the sales team to meet business objectives.
• Strategic vision: Develop and execute a clear business plan that aligns with global strategy. Anticipate market trends, focus on key priorities, and implement long-term development plans to sustain competitive advantage.
• Operational excellence: Set challenging goals, hold teams accountable, and ensure successful product launches. Promote innovation and continuous improvement by assessing new technologies and removing obstacles to success.
• Leadership and development: Act as a role model, guiding operations and fostering a motivated workforce. Focus on people development, strategic workforce planning, and maintaining an inclusive and respectful work environment.
