Must-Have: Siemens scanner experience preferred, Level 1 trauma center experience or large hospital setting experience preferred

Description: Must have ARRT CT certification in hand at the time of submittal. Shift is 4x10, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with rotating days off. Daily caseload per tech will vary. First-timers accepted. No weekend requirement unless previously discussed for coverage. On-call requirement is not applicable. Float within scope to meet facility needs is required. Floating to sister facilities is not required. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending state license is not accepted. No more than 7 days of requested time off are allowed within the 13-week contract. Special requirements include experience with a Level 1 trauma center and highly complex cases. All procedures are performed on Siemens scanners. BLS certification is required for all candidates. Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings is required. Preferred work setting experience includes Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, and Adult ICU. General skills required include PACS and contrasts. Preferred general skills include IV starts, portables, and biopsies. CT procedure experience required includes abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. Preferred CT procedure experience includes aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies. The facility is classified as a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 1259 staffed beds. Daily census and patient visit data vary. In-depth knowledge of handling Level 1 trauma center cases is required. Interdisciplinary support is provided.
