Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Team Leader, and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCS/Student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population. Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and, non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

What qualifications you will need:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of respiratory care and/or have completed the program and will obtain CRT/RRT credential within 180 days of hire. Perform delegated tasks and data collection that have been taught and verified in the course of study.

CRT, RRT or RPFT by NBRC within 180 days upon completion of accredited program. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree
