Primary Care Opportunities near Metro Tampa, FL We are looking for experienced primary‑care physicians. Must be Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Position Details Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shared after‑hours office call; no hospital call. Call rotation: 7 physicians total. One night per week, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., plus every 6th or 7th weekend. Weeknight volume is low (3–4 calls), no 2 a.m. calls; all calls come early. Weekend call average close to 25 calls over the whole weekend during daytime. Practice Practice has over 1,500 risk members and approximately 600 non‑risk members. Current staff: 3 docs, an ARNP, care management, triage nurse, administrator, referral coordinator/lab assistant, receptionist/medical records. 2 exam rooms per provider and one procedure room. Established since 1993, one of the original offices of the client. Stable, seasoned staff and strong support structure; easy for new physician to adapt. No weekend or evening office hours. Patient Mix Practice uses only two insurance products; 80% Medicare. Adult patients only; no pediatrics. Full risk practice model: some fee‑for‑service patients but mostly full risk. Location Close to one of the best beaches in the nation and one of the most desirable, livable, safe areas of the Tampa Bay area. Vacation and retirement destination for people across the US.
