Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 24 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >35 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years of current Med Surg/Tele experience required. - Charge experience required; must be willing to work charge. - Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required. - Drip experience is required. Must have experience with insulin drips, emolol drips, and sodium drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - ICU experience strongly preferred.

Required Credentials: - Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

Special Requests: - No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. All RTO and scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; requests after submission, during interview, or after offer will not be approved and may lead to rescinded offer.

Unit Details: - Adaptive acuity unit; on occasion, travelers will be asked to provide PCU care (3:1 ratio). This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. Holidays required if needed. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
