OBGYN Hospitalist

Position Highlights Position : Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist Location : Primary location: Arlington Heights IL, Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) probable expansion to additional locations at Evanston, Edward, and Elmhurst Hospital. Full Time 1.0 FTE 12 hour shifts 7am - 7pm, 7pm to 7am Pay Range: $220,825 (10th Percentile) - $345,000 (75th Percentile) - As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance. Easy access for patients through our health system, integrated via Epic EMR Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician‑led medical group and embedded service line Responsibilities Supervision of all clinical care for patients in Labor and Delivery, Antenatal and Postpartum areas. Emergency Department evaluations, requested inpatient consultations from other departments, surgical procedures and post‑operative care. Providing overall leadership and oversight for all activities on Labor and Delivery, working in collaboration with certified nurse midwives, nursing, fellows, Ob‑Gy residents, medical students and other learners. Bedside teaching of medical learners is an important expectation of the position. Qualifications Minimum Education Level Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required. Minimum Licensure Requirements Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois. Minimum Certification Requirements Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise. Minimum Work Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of expertise in OBGYN Hospital Medicine preferred.
