Bird Care/Rehab Room Volunteer
GREAT LAKES PIGEON RESCUE
Our rehab room in Maple Park houses newly rescued pigeons who are going through a medication protocol or are sick or injured. We need volunteers to maintain the room and provide care to the birds.
Tasks include:
- Providing fresh food and water
- Swapping eggs with fake eggs
- Changing puppy pads in cages
- Sweeping
- Washing dishes
- Assisting with projects as needed
This is a rewarding, pleasant opportunity to help pigeons. Your help is urgently needed!
Volunteers less than 16 years old must be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian/adult.
GLPR can provide mileage reimbursement if needed.
