The Manager, Advanced Capabilities helps shape and execute learning and development efforts aligned with business needs, develop the planning and execution of new hire and advanced training curriculum for the oncology field teams across the portfolio of products (Solid and Hematology) and support of the Franchise Strategy Field Teams (KAM, OCE, FRAS). The Manager, Advanced Capabilities will partner closely with Disease Training Managers and the Field Training Managers to develop and execute a continuous training path inclusive of disease and product training, core selling capabilities, and advanced training. He or she will deliver training that will enhance capabilities across the oncology field teams (e.g. The business of oncology, disease state, product knowledge, competitive selling, marketplace training, etc.). The Manager, Advanced Capabilities will partner with counterparts within LEEp, sales, brand, franchise strategy, compliance, regulatory, and other pertinent stakeholders to proactively identify training needs, develop strategies, and optimize implementation. He or she will partner across the teams deploying training to accelerate building capabilities across the regions and franchises. He or she will be the conduit for ensuring the new hire experience is enhanced and positive with managing the new hire orientation portal and process across Janssen and support training operations across the teams.QualificationsIn addition to the above, their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:ContentDevelopment,Adaptation,andDelivery:Focuses on advanced learning and capabilities that require coordination and pull thru into the regions and districts.Develops and executes advanced learning curriculum (Phase 3) for newly hired representativesWorks across the Disease Area Trainers to identify new courses and learning objectives for new content and builds this course work for advancing and building the core curriculum across all field facing teams.Develops and executes live and virtual training sessions and coordinates the execution of the enhanced training continuum for oncology new hiresFacilitate skills-based workshops at National, Regional, and District meetings by coordinating efforts, materials, and participants while maximizing engagement and effectively enhancing field learning.Designs and delivers impactful learning programs that leverage appropriate technology, learning techniques (e.g., role-playing, modeling), and different modalities to enhance individuals’ knowledge and performance.Provides and communicates to sales leadership actionable feedback during and following training sessions to improve individuals’ proficiency levels.Continually develops and applies knowledge of adult learning principles, and new learning techniques to best meet learners’ needs.Applies effective facilitation skills to develop and deliver learning programs that maximize impact.Identifies and communicates learning and development opportunities to initiate innovative approaches to the training curriculum.Demonstrate effective platform skills when facilitating meetings or delivering training to maximize the impact of the session and ensure that information is communicated consistently and clearly.Ensures training content and materials fully comply with HCC and Company guidelines and is approved through all appropriate channels.Project Management & Collaboration:Manages competing priorities and adapts to changes in project timelines, urgency, or compliance constraints.Develops and implements short- and long-term project plans and meets objectives, milestones, and deliverables for multiple projects.Identifies and manages the necessary resources for projects.Collaborates efforts across peers, Franchise Training Sr. Managers, DATMs, FTMs, RBDs, and DMs to ensure consistency, leverage resources, and share best practices.Partners with internal and external stakeholders to devise strategies and materials for use within each region, based on individual strengths and areas for development.Clinical & Marketplace Expertise:Remains current on Hematology & Solid product knowledge, marketplace conditions, and stakeholder practices to deliver the most effective delivery of materials.Understands the changing healthcare ecosystem and adapts learning solutions to address changes.Develops clinical fluency in all assigned disease states to equip learners to engage stakeholders in meaningful, results-driven conversations.Demonstrates selling skills to understand and meet the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions.Primary LocationUnited States-Pennsylvania-Horsham-800/850 Ridgeview DriveOrganizationJanssen Biotech, Inc.
