Job Title

Purpose Statement: To fabricate mechanical components for test equipment for use in manufacturing and product development prototypes.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Perform work in a neat and professional manner, maintains work area and assists in maintaining the Plexus Engineering Solutions Lab to 6S standards.
• Support ongoing efforts to improve the fabrication process so that Plexus Technology Group remains competitive. Identify and offer suggestions for process improvement so as to improve quality and/or reduce cost.
• Provide quality products and services to all internal and external customers.
• Fabricate and assemble components/complete systems based on prints or as directed by engineering.
• Support CAD/CAM efforts as needed and provide proper feedback to engineering teams
• Own equipment maintenance and stock items for the shop.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in machining or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of related experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
• Prioritizing skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects are essential.
• Self-motivated with an ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to fully operate CNC machines and all manual machining processes.
