Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us at our Care Center in St. Petersburg while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: 8a-8p (3 shifts a week).

Since 1977, Suncoast Hospice has been honored to serve our neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end-of-life care. As part of Empath Health, we help those living with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning, while supporting their families and caregivers with guidance and care every step of the way.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for providing care and/or assisting with that care when appropriate.
• Respond sensitively to patient/family needs by observing and reporting any changes to include physical, spiritual, social and emotional to the patient's nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Supports and carries out the organization's mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis.

What you'll need:

• Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Licensure: Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License). Valid Florida State Driver's License.

Qualifications:

Licenses & certifications: Required: CNA. Preferred: CPR.
