About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified OR RN in Bakersfield, California, 93301!

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis, care issues, and appropriate interventions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and the treatment team

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor - required
• Minimum of two years of recent Operating Room experience
• EPIC electronic health records experience - required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
