SSIS Developer

SSIS/Business Intelligence Developer Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (remote to start) Job Duration: 12 months + annual extension Job Overview: Business Intelligence developer. 80% of duties will be working with SQL Server Integration Services Packages. Will also work with ETL, troubleshooting, and occasional basic DBA tasks. Job Responsibilities: Design and Develop Ad-hoc reports and queries to meet user and program needs daily as directed by the Department. Develop OLAP cubes and dashboards reports to satisfy program requirements daily as directed by the Department. Develop and support web interface to publish OLAP cubes and reports for end users daily as directed by the Department. Design and develop data management routines to populate centralized datasets used for reporting key performance indicators and HIVQUAL Quality Measures daily as directed by the Department. Provide support and be on call during off hours, holidays, and weekends. Document system design, functionality, technical objectives, business requirements, business processes, and system processes daily as directed by the Department. In collaboration with Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (DCHP) information technology teams; design, develop, and code based on business requirements for the DCHP Master Person Index (MPI) project as part of the overall strategic effort for integration and interoperability of its systems and software daily as directed by the Department. Work with Division resources to standardize collection and storage of DCHP shared data daily as directed by the Department. Maintain current SQL server integration packages deployed in production daily as directed by the Department. Maintain and support HIV AIDS Data warehouse and other SQL Server Databases daily as directed by the Department. Develop new SQL server integration packages as needed for Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) daily as directed by the Department. Job Requirements: Five years of experience performing requirements analysis and generating ad-hoc reports. Five years of experience with SQL relational databases and Decision Support Systems (DSS), high performance, service-oriented, and multi-tiered environments. Five years of experience with object-oriented analysis and design. Five years of demonstrated experience in system support and maintenance. Five years of experience writing relational and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database queries using SQL. Five years of experience working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar. Three years of experience with software build and release management methodologies. Five years of experience with ETL using Microsoft Visual Studio business intelligence tool.
