Medical EditorAdds reference annotations to final PDFs of promotional materials for OPDP submission. Highlights and back-annotates corresponding references for OPDP submission. Supplies missing reference annotations and/or references. Completes multiple projects under extremely tight deadlines. Helps proofread package inserts, medication guides, brief summaries, and other labeling documents. Translates complex medical information into patient-friendly language.Skills and KnowledgeRequired:Well versed in Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalThorough understanding of pharmaceutical LMR review processAbility to focus on detailed, repetitious tasks for long periodsFlexibility in meeting strict deadlinesStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to hyperlink references in Adobe AcrobatPreferred:Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology and federal regulations governing pharmaceutical advertisingExperience in writing and/or editing professional promotional, med ed, or related materialsPharma ad agency experienceEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in English/journalism/mass communications or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of referencing submissions for LMR and/or OPDP reviewMinimum 5 years of proofreading experience, preferably in the medical/pharmaceutical field
