Wedgewood Weddings & Events is seeking experienced hospitality leaders to join us as General Managers. This is an opportunity to lead one of our wedding and event venues while developing your career with a company that continues to expand across the country.

Our General Managers are business leaders, culture builders, coaches, and problem-solvers. They oversee every aspect of the venuefrom sales performance and guest experience to food & beverage operations, team development, facility management, and financial results.

With continued growth throughout North Carolina and the East Coast, this role offers long-term advancement opportunities for leaders who are interested in expanding their careers. While this position is based in Charlotte, future relocation opportunities may be available for those who are interested in exploring leadership roles in new markets.

What You'll Do

• Lead all aspects of venue operations, sales, food & beverage, facilities, and team development
• Own and manage the venue's financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and labor management
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams across sales, operations, culinary, and event staff
• Create a culture of accountability, hospitality, and teamwork
• Deliver exceptional experiences for clients, guests, and team members
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train future leaders
• Ensure operational excellence, facility upkeep, and adherence to company standards
• Partner with corporate leadership to drive business growth and continuous improvement
• Represent the company within the local community and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, events, food & beverage, hotels, restaurants, country clubs, entertainment venues, or similar service-focused industries
• Proven success leading teams and driving business results
• Strong coaching, communication, and people-development skills
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and holding teams accountable
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Experience managing budgets, labor, sales goals, or P&L performance is highly preferred

As a GM, you won't just manage your venue, this program gives you a stake in the success of the overall business. If Wedgewood hits its long-term financial targets, you earn a significant payout on top of your standard bonus, putting you in the same seat as the investors backing this company's growth. Payouts are tied to tenure and other performance factors, and can range from 4-18+ months of salary for GMs.

Pay Rate: $80,000-$90,000

Quarterly Bonus: $3,750
