Brake/Tire Specialist

Secure trucks on lifts and ramps Perform tire and brake maintenance Mount, dismount, and balance tires Occasionally road test vehicles Work in a production line Use U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology and electronic pre-inspection checklist to assess and care for field vehicles Assist in additional areas as necessary under supervisor direction and guidance Work safely during manual-labor tasks and remain alert Requirements Basic mechanical aptitude 1–2 years of repair experience preferred Driver’s license Ability to work as part of a team and individually Basic computer skills Regular attendance Ability to perform manual labor safely and remain alert Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, safety shoes, goggles, gloves, or face shields Must not use nicotine products, consistent with applicable state law and U-Haul hiring policy Core Competencies Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and repair experience, with the ability to perform tire and brake maintenance, and utilize proprietary technology for vehicle assessment.
