Senior Manager, Oracle Planning Systems and Financial Analytics

Manage the corporate financial analysis function, including activity-based management, cost-benefit analysis, corporate performance management, and other analyses involving company revenue, expenses, and other business results based on past, present, and future operations. Support projects and other strategic initiatives.Direct research and analysis of business and financial information at a corporate levelMake recommendations and assist in establishing the strategic direction of the companyOversee research, analyses, and reporting of fluctuations in financial and business results to identify trends and research variancesMake recommendations to improve company performance and resolve issuesOversee research, analyses, and reporting of fluctuations between actual financial results and forecasted amounts to advise management on potential areas of impactMake recommendations for corrective actionAssist in the preparation of corporate financial forecasts for the development of strategic business plansOversee activity-based costingMake recommendations based on data produced from this systemDevelop and maintain the Corporate Performance Management (Scorecard) methodologyPartner with senior management to identify and measure key performance metricsRecommend changes to streamline financial and business systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and appropriate utilization of resourcesPrepare reports that outline the company's financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings to assist in financial decision-makingAnalyze and interpret various internal and external financial reports and statisticsAssist other areas of the company in providing competitive intelligenceResearch and adopt new developments in the field of financial planning and controls to ensure the most effective financial practices**Job Specifications***Typically has the following skills or abilities:*Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 1 additional year of experience related to functional areaMinimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reportsCPA or MBA preferredDemonstrated ability to conduct various types of analysis, including cost-benefit and alternative analysisProficient in spreadsheet applications and financial/analysis systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, facilitation, and negotiation skillsClean credit history as reported by credit reportAbility to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties**Preferred Skills**Experience administering Oracle Planning, including dimensional updates, creating calc scripts, security setup, and managing data integrationExperience with planning system design and implementationSolid background with OLAP data sources, including Hyperion EssbaseExperience in FPA role during the annual planning/forecasting process#LI-VISIONCARECompensation range for the role is listed below.
