Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front-office and back-office operations, including patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative duties. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to an externship.

Hands-on experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems.

Experience with front-office and back-office medical assisting.

Experience with EKG and point-of-care (POC) testing.

BLS or CPR certification.

Medical Assistant certification or diploma.

Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant certification.

Interest in health education and patient outreach.

Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a professional, welcoming experience.

Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

Obtain and document patient vital signs.

Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures.

Administer vaccinations as directed.

Perform EKG testing and point-of-care testing.

Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination.

Answer phones and provide administrative support.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using EMR systems.

Provide additional clinical and administrative support as needed.

Collaborate with providers and other clinical staff.

Support health education, outreach, and population health initiatives.

Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.

Shift Schedule Monday:

6:45 AM – 4:00 PM

Tuesday:

6:45 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday:

6:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday:

9:45 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday:

7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
