About the Position

Job Title: PACU RN Profession: RN Specialty: Post Anesthesia Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 Hours Day Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Required; PALS Preferred Must-Have: - Pre and post-op recovery care experience - Ability to handle a 34-bed unit with a 1:2 phase one recovery ratio - Experience with services including gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery Description: PACU RN needed for Same Day Program. The position involves varying shifts: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, and 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM. No on-call or weekend requirements. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications, with PALS preferred. The role requires providing pre and post-op recovery care in a busy surgical environment. This position involves working with a diverse range of surgical specialties.
