Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (7:30 PM - 8:00 AM) with weekend and holiday rotation. All travelers may be required to float between different campuses as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiac Progressive Care for a dynamic healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing cardiac telemetry, and supporting patients experiencing a range of cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
• Titrating drips and administering medications as per protocols.
• Monitoring patient vitals and providing ongoing assessment.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation and reporting using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license required.
• 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Cardiac Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and management of vasoactive drips is mandatory.
• Pass the compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
