Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient

A great Outpatient is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team for a perm / direct hire assignment. Responsibilities Assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method. Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school. Current state license as an Occupational Therapist/OT or proactively in the process of obtaining current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist/OT. Current CPR certification.
