Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Job description:

Looking for dedicated, individuals who are able to work within a team in a fast-paced kitchen. The Dishwashers’ responsibilities include washing and cleaning tableware, cooking equipment, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities also may include restocking items, unloading deliveries, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as pots, pans, mixers, etc.

• Unload and store deliveries following established procedure.

• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.

• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.

• Supports other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

• Reports kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures to Management.

• Maintain the staff restrooms and staff entrance area in sanitary condition.

• Collaborate with Kitchen and Front of House Staff in regular cleaning and deep cleaning.

Dishwasher Requirements:

• Minimal work experience.

• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

• Exceptional time management skills.

• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 40 pounds.

• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
