Paralegal, Commercial Contracts - Real Estate Manager & Visual Lease Location: Atlanta, GA or Arlington, VA or Richmond, VA | In office, Monday-Friday | Full-time. Role Overview The Paralegal function plays a critical role in supporting the company’s commercial contracting activities. This position works closely with attorneys, business teams (sales, revenue operations and finance) to review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements. It ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements and drives efficiency in the contract processes in support of business objectives. Responsibilities Draft, review, and edit commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, NDAs, and AI/privacy/security addenda. Assist attorneys and business stakeholders in negotiating contract terms and conditions to align with company objectives and risk tolerance. Maintain a centralized contract repository, support tracking of key dates and obligations, and ensure timely execution and renewal of agreements. Develop and update contract templates, playbooks, and process documentation. Train junior paralegals and business teams on contract policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, sales, finance) to gather information and facilitate contract approvals and required documentation (RFPs, security questionnaires, corporate documentation requests). Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and escalating issues as appropriate. Assist with dispute resolution and contract enforcement matters, including preparing summaries and supporting documentation. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial transactions, and business operations. Excellent drafting, editing, and negotiation skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems (Salesforce preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments and levels. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate commitment to prior employers. Preferred Qualifications Paralegal certification. Experience with commercial contracts. Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm setting. Experience with lease administration/lease accounting software platforms. Demonstrated success working with OKRs and performance metrics. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Compensation Base Compensation: $68,000 - $92,000 annually.
