Senior Structural/Industrial Engineer

Trueline is seeking a Senior Structural/Industrial Engineer to join their industrial fabrication and engineering team supporting the design of Industrial Structural Systems including platforms, walkways, supports, access systems within industrial plants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a high-impact role focused on designing and detailing complex industrial structures, with the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and influence major projects. What You’ll Do as the Senior Structural Engineer: Design and detail large-scale structural platforms and systems used in industrial plant environments Create and review drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, and related tools Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable Lead technical decision-making on projects ranging from 15M to 20M in scope Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping elevate team capability and direction Review and extract key components from complex drawings and plans Support continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows Participate in onsite walkthroughs and design reviews as needed Senior Structural/Industrial Engineer Requirements: 8+ years of experience in structural or industrial engineering Strong background designing structures for heavy industrial environments such as cement, manufacturing, or processing plants Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor Experience with structural detailing and fabrication-ready design Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams Hands-on, practical mindset with the ability to translate design into real-world production Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Structural/Industrial Engineer: Professional Engineer (PE) license (not required) Experience working with large-scale industrial clients or in fabrication environments Familiarity with process plants such as cement or aggregate facilities Experience improving engineering workflows or implementing new tools We Offer: Competitive base salary with flexibility for highly experienced candidates Unique, high-upside performance-based bonus structure tied to company growth Health benefits and 401k program Flexible work setup with hybrid options available (minimum 1 day/week onsite) Opportunity to join a company experiencing rapid growth following a major merger and expansion Exposure to large, complex industrial projects and high-profile clients Leadership opportunity to shape engineering standards and mentor a growing team Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
