Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. This position will require working day shifts, specifically 3 x 12-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with variable start times. Excellent candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience and the required certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while administering treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:4.

Requirements

• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Availability to float between similar units as needed.
• Open to working three of the following five holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
• Must include all requests for time off (RTO) at the time of submission.

• Daily Census: Approximately 87 patients
• Specialties Available: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more.
