Job Description Manufacturing shipping and receiving clerk manages the intake of raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods. They verify shipment accuracy, maintain inventory logs, operate heavy machinery, and prepare orders for transport, serving as the critical link between the factory floor and the supply chain Key Responsibilities
Branch Manager- Claremore/Pryor Christy has been in the staffing industry since 2005 and joined the American StaffCorp team in Claremore in 2018 as a Staffing Professional. In 2023 she was promoted to Staffing Manager overseeing the operations in Claremore and Pryor, Oklahoma. Christy has a strong focus on the relationships between her clients and the candidates she works with. She is highly involved in the Claremore community and is passionate about helping people succeed and will go the extra mile for you.
- Receiving: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming materials for damage, and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Shipping: Prepare, package, and label outgoing products according to carrier regulations and customer specifications.
- Inventory Control: Log daily shipments, update ERP/SAP systems, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to transport materials to designated warehouse or production areas.
- Quality Assurance: Report missing, incorrect, or defective items and assist the quality team in resolving discrepancies.
- Compliance: Follow all environmental, safety, and operational protocols (e.g., proper PPE usage and hazardous material handling)
- Core Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED; typically 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and warehouse inventory tracking software (e.g., SAP, ERP, MS Excel).
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stand for long periods, and work in varying industrial temperatures.
