We provide property restoration services throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, commercial cleaning, and other specialty property services. We are looking for someone who can take what we do every day and turn it into content that people watch, remember, share, and act on. This is not a position for someone who only wants to schedule posts. We want a storyteller, content creator, marketer, and idea generator who can help us build a recognizable local brand while developing marketing campaigns that generate leads and business opportunities. The position will begin part‑time, with the opportunity to grow into a full‑time marketing role as the company continues to expand. What You'll Do You will help develop and execute PuroClean of Greater Landover's digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include: Create engaging short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn Film and edit restoration projects, before‑and‑after transformations, customer stories, employee features, educational content, and behind‑the‑scenes footage Develop attention‑grabbing Instagram and Facebook advertisements Turn restoration projects into compelling stories instead of simply posting project photos Create content explaining water damage, mold, fire damage, emergency response, commercial restoration, and property maintenance Develop social media campaigns designed to generate phone calls, website traffic, referrals, and qualified leads Post and manage content on: Instagram Facebook LinkedIn TikTok Google Business Profile Utilize Zelly AI and other AI marketing tools to assist with content creation, campaign development, automation, lead generation, and marketing ideas Create monthly and weekly content calendars Develop creative concepts for paid and organic advertising Write captions, headlines, calls‑to‑action, and marketing copy Help position PuroClean in front of property managers, real estate professionals, plumbers, HVAC companies, insurance professionals, commercial businesses, government agencies, and homeowners Identify local trends, community events, partnerships, and opportunities that can increase brand visibility Help develop email, social media, referral, and community outreach campaigns Monitor engagement, leads, website traffic, and campaign results Recommend new strategies based on marketing performance Help grow the company's followers while focusing on the more important goal: growing revenue Work directly with ownership to brainstorm new campaigns and business‑development ideas We Want Someone Who Can Tell a Story A flooded basement isn't just a picture of wet drywall. A mold remediation project isn't just someone wearing PPE. A fire‑loss project isn't simply another worksite. Every job has a story: What happened? What problem was the customer facing? How did PuroClean respond? What did our team do differently? What was the result? We want someone who understands how to capture those moments and turn them into content that builds trust with potential customers. The Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you: Love creating video content Understand Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn Know how to shoot quality video using a smartphone or camera Can edit short‑form video quickly Understand hooks, storytelling, captions, trending formats, and calls‑to‑action Are comfortable appearing on camera occasionally and coaching others who appear on camera Can interview customers, employees, business partners, or company leadership Have experience with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Zelly AI, or similar platforms Understand basic digital advertising Are curious about AI and how it can improve marketing Think creatively about generating leads Can work independently and bring ideas to the table Are comfortable visiting active restoration projects to capture content Understand that successful marketing should ultimately contribute to business growth We'd Especially Like to Meet You If… You have experience marketing for any of the following: Restoration, construction, home services, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, real estate, property management, insurance, cleaning services, government contracting, or another local service business. Experience in these industries is helpful but not required . Creativity, initiative, reliability, and the ability to learn are more important. What Success Looks Like We are not hiring someone simply to say: We want to eventually be able to say:

• That ad generated qualified water‑damage leads."
• That project story helped a commercial client understand what PuroClean can do."
• People in our market are starting to recognize the PuroClean name."

The right person will help us measure both audience growth and business growth. Growth Opportunity Our goal is to find someone who wants to grow with the company. This position will initially be part‑time, but a successful candidate could eventually grow into a: Full‑Time Marketing Specialist → Marketing Manager → Director of Marketing / Business Development As the company grows, we want this person to have the opportunity to take greater ownership of our marketing strategy, advertising, brand development, and lead‑generation efforts. Schedule Part‑Time Approximately 5–10 hours per week , with flexibility depending on content needs and project activity. Some work may be completed remotely, but the candidate must be available to periodically visit our office, restoration projects, customer locations, networking events, and other locations throughout the local market to capture original content. Qualifications Social media/content creation experience preferred Video filming and editing ability Strong writing and communication skills Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Creative mindset with a strong sense of initiative Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Comfortable working around active restoration and construction environments when necessary Marketing, communications, advertising, film, digital media, or related education is helpful but not required About PuroClean of Greater Landover PuroClean of Greater Landover is a locally owned property restoration company serving residential, commercial, and government customers throughout the greater Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia market.
