Regional Sales Director, Uro-Oncology - North

As the Regional Sales Director, Uro‑Oncology, you will be a critical part of the customer‑facing team responsible for launching our new therapy and for overseeing all business and product promotion within an assigned geographical area. Responsibilities Contribute to your territory, region, and Ferring’s success by promoting and selling Ferring products to exceed established sales quotas. Build, lead, coach, and develop Sales Specialists in your assigned region. Embrace brand strategy and execute your plan of action at the regional and territory levels. Analyze and understand assigned markets and customers; use this knowledge to drive recommendations for future programs and training. Participate in daily field rides where you lead, coach, and develop your staff. Identify new, unique, and profitable business opportunities. Create, own, and develop business relationships with key customers and accounts. Monitor and manage region travel and expenses reports. Leverage learning opportunities and share results with stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience. 5+ years of pharmaceutical, specialty sales, or key account team leadership experience. Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Oncology and/or Urology strongly desired; Bladder Cancer experience preferred. Demonstrated success leading teams within large, organized customers/IDNs. Prior job experience in regional/national accounts, key account management, marketing, market access, analytics, training, or related roles is preferred. Product launch experience is preferred. Experience with buy and bill outpatient facilities strongly preferred. Extensive travel required. Strong leadership, analytical, business and strategic planning skills; strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills; strong collaboration skills; strong organizational and communication skills. Achieve or exceed sales objectives and hire, motivate, develop teams through both sales targets; identify potential customers and add to the customer base. Physical Requirements Sit approximately 3–4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time, depending on geography of the territory. Walk up to 15% of the time, depending on geography. Climb stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories. Stand more than 1–2 hours at a time. Lift, carry, push, and/or pull items such as laptops, iPads, printed material, and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds. Long‑distance travel via airplane or other commercial conveyance approximately 2–3 times per year; additional overnight and/or longer distance travel may be required more frequently, depending on the territory. Location This role will cover the North territory and must reside in or close to the following cities, with proximity to a major airport: Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $200,000 to $230,000. Additional compensation will be provided based on competitive annual incentive targets in the form of sales commissions.
