Job Description
Registered Nurse - Surgical Care

Schedule

Nights, with a rotation to days. Shifts include 10:30 PM to 7 AM or 10 PM to 8:30 AM for nights, and 5:30 AM to 2 PM for days. Weekend requirement: One 8-hour Saturday shift per month. Holidays are rotated as assigned.

Assignment Details

Contract duration: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active and Clear RN License
• BLS Certification
• 2 years of Medical-Surgical Experience
• EPIC experience

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5.
• Assist in the care of patients requiring less than a 24-hour stay after surgery.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
