Licensed Practical Nurse

Come join an amazing agency that values their employees. Responsibilities Chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit. Administer Physician-prescribed medication. Dress or redress wounds and monitor the healing progress. Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies. Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient’s care plan. Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient. Qualifications Valid LPN license and in good standing Proven experience as a licensed practical nurse, preferably in home health Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to always follow them A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
