Dialysis Technician/Certified Hemodialysis Technician - NE Clinic - CHT

The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing specialized care for patients undergoing dialysis at Mayo Clinic. The Tech works with a Registered Nurse to provide basic dialysis care, including starting and stopping treatment, caring for patients during treatment, and maintaining dialysis equipment to ensure patient safety. The Dialysis Technician will perform other tasks as delegated by the RN or supervisor, which may include additional patient care tasks and supply inventory management. These responsibilities require attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions. The Dialysis Technician is an integral member of the health care team in dialysis. The Hemodialysis Technician functions as an interdisciplinary team member to meet patient and family care needs within the Mayo Clinic Dialysis Services (MCDS) system.
