Benefits Comprehensive health and medical coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan Professional growth and leadership training Paid vacation, holidays, and parental leave Position Responsibilities The Route Sales Representative (RSR) at Flowers Bakeries Sales of NorCal, LLC is responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products. The RSR maintains a professional appearance, builds and sustains strong customer relationships, and is accountable for vehicle upkeep, accurate record‑keeping, and timely reporting of maintenance issues. This role requires flexibility to work varying days and early morning start times—typically around 3:00 am—with days off scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays. The RSR expands shelf space, creatively displays in‑store promotions, and ensures product shelf life is maximized through proper rotation. Effective RSRs use data and marketing plans to drive customer growth, collaborate with clients to increase sales, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. Adaptability and flexibility are essential, as service windows may extend into non‑traditional hours. Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical in a Direct Store Delivery environment. Preferred Qualifications Sales experience. Delivery driver experience. High school diploma or GED. Essential Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card. Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record. Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines. Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV. Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4‑week company paid training). Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
