Inside Parts Sales Representative

Summary/objective Goodfellow has an open position for an Inside Sales Representative in our Sales Department. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales of parts, hardware, and equipment. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily Build and maintain relationships with new and returning customers Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally Sell the company's products or services to customers Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs Effectively communicate with manufacturers to figure out what parts are needed Recommend additional parts through unique sales techniques Competencies Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication and customer service Self-motivated and willing to work independently Detail oriented and able to multi-task Complex Problem-solving skills Team focused with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and dedication to succeed Interested in learning more and growing; Basic sales skills Supervisory responsibilities None Work environment Desk Work Physical demands Sitting for long periods of time at a desk Travel required No Preferred education and experience Knowledge of ERP system Additional eligibility requirements Authorized to work in the US.
