Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist - OB/GYN/MFM

Role Overview We are seeking a Per Diem, Senior Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN, MFM) to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment. Key Responsibilities Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for anatomical, pathological, and functional evaluation. Perform studies across various modalities, ensuring adherence to protocols. Provide training and guidance to Ultrasound Technology students, monitoring their clinical progress. Access and manage patient information via hospital information systems, verifying details per HIPAA regulations. Assess patient conditions, explain procedures, and adjust exams as needed for optimal results. Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, conducting quality control checks and reporting malfunctions. Follow departmental policies, safety, and isolation procedures. Qualifications & Skills Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology program. Minimum of 5 years of experience. Registered or eligible to register with ARDMS within one year. Licenses such as Cardiovascular Credentialing or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and with team members.
