Role Description This full-time Digital Account Executive role is a hybrid position based in Mobile, AL, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Digital Account Executive will manage a portfolio of advertising clients, developing relationships, understanding business objectives, and recommending tailored digital and broadcast marketing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new business, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and creating proposals that leverage WALA-TV Fox 10’s digital and broadcast platforms. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to launch, optimize, and monitor campaigns, reviewing performance data, and providing regular updates and recommendations to clients. GDM / Fox 10 has a large support staff to help with all optimization and reporting. The Digital Account Executive will also stay current on digital advertising trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and ensure clients receive effective, goal-oriented campaigns.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strength in Sales and Sales Presentations, including prospecting, pitching, and closing business with local and regional advertisers.
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain digital solutions clearly, build trust, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Experience in Account Management, including maintaining client relationships, managing multiple campaigns, and delivering responsive customer service.
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing, including online advertising, social media, display, video, and performance-based campaigns.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic analytics tools to track pipelines, campaign performance, and client activity.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both independent and team-based responsibilities.
• Prior media, advertising, or marketing sales experience is required. Experience in local broadcast or digital media is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client meetings and local market travel.
