W2 Only Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team and support the development, testing, and deployment of Python-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting expertise, experience with Jenkins, and a passion for software quality and automation.This role will involve writing and maintaining Python applications, creating and executing test cases, validating code functionality, and supporting CI/CD processes through Jenkins.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for Python applications.Perform code validation, debugging, and quality assurance testing.Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects.Integrate, build, and deploy applications using Jenkins pipelines.Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed.Required SkillsTechnical SkillsPython Scripting (Expert Level)Advanced experience developing Python applications and automation scripts.Strong understanding of Python best practices and software design principles.JenkinsExperience building and maintaining Jenkins jobs and pipelines.Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated deployment processes.Testing ExperienceExperience writing and executing test cases for Python applications.Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and defect tracking.Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest preferred.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience with source control systems such as Git.Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Key CompetenciesApplication DevelopmentPython ProgrammingSoftware Testing & Quality AssuranceCI/CD ImplementationJenkins AdministrationDebugging and TroubleshootingTeam CollaborationExperience Required3+ years of professional Python development experience.Hands-on experience with Jenkins and automated build/deployment pipelines.Experience writing, testing, and deploying production-quality applications.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
