Position Overview:

IHOP in Marietta, GA , is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing our guests with exceptional dining experiences by delivering friendly service, efficiently taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions.- Accurately take and process customer orders, utilizing our point-of-sale (POS) system.- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure that plates are prepared and garnished according to IHOP standards.- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues in a timely manner.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.- Handle cash and credit card transactions, and process payments according to company policies.- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.- Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge in the food service industry.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude.- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.- Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain any necessary permits or certifications required.- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
