We are partnering with a respected healthcare-focused educational institution that is expanding its highly regarded Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Due to continued growth and the launch of a new semester, the school is seeking an experienced Sonography Instructor with expertise in OB/GYN and Vascular ultrasound.

This program holds CAAHEP accreditation, which is considered one of the most prestigious and rigorous accreditations within allied health education. As a result, the institution attracts high-caliber students and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical and classroom instruction.

Program Structure

The instructor will teach a combination of online seminar, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography courses while also providing student support, tutoring, laboratory instruction, and administrative responsibilities.

Monday

First half of semester:

• Online Seminar
• 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM instruction
• 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM administrative time

Second half of semester:

• Administrative duties and lab tutoring
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Tuesday

OB/GYN I

• 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM classroom/lab instruction
• 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM tutoring and administrative responsibilities

Wednesday

Introduction to Vascular Sonography

• 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM classroom/lab instruction
• 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM administrative responsibilities

Thursday

• Administrative duties
• Student support and tutoring
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Friday

• OB/GYN II
• 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM classroom/lab instruction

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and online instruction in sonography coursework
• Teach OB/GYN and Vascular ultrasound curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, educational materials, and student evaluations
• Support student success through mentoring, advising, tutoring, and academic coaching
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
• Participate in program meetings, committees, recruitment activities, and special projects
• Maintain current knowledge of sonography practices, imaging technology, and educational methodologies
• Assist with accreditation standards, assessment activities, and program outcomes measurement
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
