Electrician Lead

Job Description New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, commercial retail, office, and hospitality developments. Modular homes are the concept of manufacturing entire buildings in a production environment, and then shipping pieces off to new build construction sites to be assembled by the general contractor. Looking for an experienced Electrical Lead with knowledge of MN building codes along with experience with residential and wood framed commercial new build construction. You will be based in Albertville where the manufacturing takes place, and occasionally travel to main site with Master Electrician. Looking for a candidate who can lead a team of 6-7 employees. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring as well as equipment and fixtures Connect circuit breakers, transformers, or other components Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications Plans layouts, installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers and fuse boxes. Inspects wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards; defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance of electrical codes Make recommendations to plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building and safety codes Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances Other duties as assigned Education and Qualifications: 3- 5+ years’ experience of skilled electrical work Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of electrical applications Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled electrical work Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player Skilled in interpersonal communication by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Top Reason to Work: Opportunity to grow and mentor a team Brand new company supplied tools We are a drug-free workplace and offer benefits on day one of employment.
