Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full-time Night Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm 7:00 am Justin 4 GI GU Surgical Unit Justin 4 is a 36-bed surgical unit that will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients. On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. Patients may be admitted pre- or post-operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days. RN staffing ratio: 1:4 PCT staffing ratio: 1:12 Positions require 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.

Qualifications:

Here's What You Need:

  • Education: Associate's Degree Nursing Req, Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
  • Experience: 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Req
  • Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
  • Skills: A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
