Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN for NOC shifts with call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both OB and Labor & Delivery, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage and assess patients' conditions throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled.
• Occasionally cover day shifts as needed.

Shift Information

The position primarily involves night shifts, with a requirement for 6-8 call shifts every 6-week schedule. There may be occasional day shift coverage. Holiday coverage is also required.

Qualifications

• Current MT license or qualifying compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Intermediate AWHONN certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing.

Hours will not exceed 4 shifts per week unless mutually agreed upon by the nurse and the OB Manager. Please note that there is no guaranteed block scheduling or consistent weekends off.
