Lube TechnicianJob Summary The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on trucks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Medical, Dental, Vision low-cost premiums even for family coverage Company-paid life/AD&D insurance Company-paid short-term disability Paid sick/vacation/holiday 401k/Company Funded Pension Program (program is dependent upon location and job type) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Additional voluntary benefitsCompensation $25.00 to $35.00 DOEResponsibilitiesLubricate trucks per manufacturer specifications.Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned trucks.Maintain accurate records of lubrication and maintenance activities.Communicate with operators and supervisors regarding vehicle needs or issues.Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations when handling hazardous materials.Report deficiencies or safety concerns promptly to the Equipment Manager or Supervisor.Assist mechanics with servicing as needed.Move company vehicles around the yard and perform additional maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, replacing filters, and inspecting for leaks.EducationHigh school diploma/GEDRequirements/QualificationsClean driving record and a valid driver's license requiredAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPhysical requirements: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, frequent lifting of 50 pounds, occasional lifting of 75 to 100 pounds with team supportStretching, driving/sitting, using pneumatic and power toolsFollow all safety protocols and proceduresWilling and able to take direction and learn new skills1-2 Years working with trucksTolerance for outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and indoor shop conditions.Ability to operate lubrication equipment safely and effectively.Combination of field-based work requiring daily travel to various job sites and shop-based maintenance tasks.Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, depending on project needs.Preferred: Mechanically inclined Eager to learn new skillsConditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, background check and clearance from FMCSA if CDL Driver.
