Senior IT/OT Engineer

We are seeking a Senior IT/OT Engineer to perform all aspects of process automation network engineering and integration, including initial concepts, specifications, design engineering, documentation, project implementation, testing, startup, and training of operating and maintenance personnel. As an automation networking expert, you will be a key member of a diverse team of professionals developing solutions for our client’s most complex challenges.You will:Lead or work on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of IT/OT networks in a GMP manufacturing environment.Anticipate and provide solutions to project leadership and/or customer as part of a project team, giving high priority to customer satisfaction and forward-looking technology.Adapt to a flexible work schedule & travel, if necessary, to participate in the design, development, and start-up of control systems at the client’s facility.Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. You have:5+ years IT/OT networking experience in industry. Experience building and validating networks for GMP use is strongly preferred.BS EngineeringDetail oriented with strong technical aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to Instrumentation and Controls, as well as IT/OT network security and operations.Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, and maintain process control system networks, managing connectivity to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, thin clients, networked I/O, and externally hosted systems.Expertise with the design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network architectures based on both virtual and physical devices, and understanding of control system network topology.Experience with high-reliability networking, including redundancy strategies and resilient topologies.Knowledge of network equipment specification, installation & troubleshooting, and control panel design, check-out, commissioning & troubleshooting.Preferred certifications:CCNASecurity+A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.We are seeking Application Knowledge in:Designing, deploying, and maintaining industrial networksCollaboration with enterprise network and server teams to manage interfaces at the network edgeConfiguring and managing Cisco-based networksConfiguring and managing industrial managed switchesCollaboration with process automation engineers to specify and configure industrial network interfaces and endpoint devicesBenefits & Perks: 401k + match + prompt enrollment.  E Tech Group employees are 100% vested upon entry.
