Travel MRI Technologist

Responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture accurate images for medical diagnosis, preparing and caring for patients undergoing MRI procedures. Key Duties Confirm patient identity, review imaging requests, and explain procedures Screen patients for MRI safety and assist radiologists during procedures Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment to ensure safety Start IVs, administer contrast media, and operate power injectors Evaluate scan quality, organize images, and ensure proper labeling Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety procedures Maintain accurate patient records and utilize PACS system Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 1-year MRI experience, BLS certification, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state-specific licensing if required. Must have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.
