Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our dynamic team in Smithville, TN, 37166. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and welding requirements.
• Perform welding operations on various materials, including steel and aluminum, using MIG, TIG, and welding techniques.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a structural welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in various welding techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy materials ( max 50 pounds ) and work in various physical conditions.
• Valid welding certification is a plus.
