Job Title: Truss Builder Job Description

Join a dedicated team in a truss plant that is committed to delivering exceptional quality work. We seek motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. While previous experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who demonstrate eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Feed boards into automated saws and catch them on the back end.

• Sort boards based on truss and project numbers.

• Manually lift boards onto truss tables.

• Read blueprints to determine the placement of plates, with training provided.

• Use a hammer to attach joint plates onto truss boards.

• Operate a nailer to secure boards together.

• Band completed trusses in the yard for shipping.

Essential Skills

• General labor and construction experience.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Basic math skills.

• Carpentry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing processes.

• Preferred ability to read and interpret a tape measure, with training available.

• Capability to work on hands and knees and climb onto four-foot-tall truss tables.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
