Description RN – Surgery – Full Time Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand‑alone, not‑for‑profit hospital located in Ste. Requirements What to expect as an RN in Surgery: Assist and coordinate perioperative care in the surgical suite and the central sterile department. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities such as integrity, courage, respect, empathy, and self‑awareness. Demonstrate safe perioperative care. Function effectively in a fast‑paced operating room environment. Completed complicated tasks with accuracy and exhibit excellent attention to detail. Collaborate with all members of the surgery team to promote workflows and effective communication. Adapt to change and have a strong work ethic. Able to prioritize tasks under pressure and demonstrate proper time management. Use critical thinking skills, support efficiency, patient quality and safety. Maintain a positive attitude to promote teamwork and a pleasant work environment. Provide flexibility; adjust hours as needed to accommodate a variable surgery schedule, standby call Monday - Friday (45 minute response time). Be able to deliver personal, compassionate care and have excellent customer service skills. Qualifications Current Missouri RN license. Surgery experience preferred. BLS certification required.
