Our Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC) is a leading-edge facility providing critical services to individuals at some of their most vulnerable moments.We’re looking for a Nurse Supervisor – Sobering to lead a team delivering immediate, compassionate care to individuals experiencing acute intoxication—while helping shape the future of sobering services in our community.What We OfferMission-Driven Work: Make a direct impact in a fast-paced, high-need environmentCompetitive Pay + Full Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTOLeadership Growth: Build and lead a team in a specialized, high-impact settingValues-Based Culture: Collaborative, compassionate, courageous, and respectfulAbout the RoleAs the Sobering Nurse Supervisor, you’ll combine clinical expertise with leadership—guiding a team of nurses while ensuring safe, effective care for individuals experiencing acute intoxication.You’ll partner closely with the BRC Nurse Manager and Medical Director to ensure quality, compliance, and strong patient outcomes—while helping your team grow in skill, confidence, and clinical judgment.This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to respond quickly, lead clearly, and think clinically makes a real difference every shift.What You’ll DoLead & Support Your TeamSupervise, coach, and develop Sobering nursing staffProvide real-time clinical guidance and performance feedbackConduct evaluations, support hiring, and address performance concernsBuild a strong, safe, and accountable team cultureDeliver High-Quality Patient CarePerform and oversee nursing assessments, monitoring, and re-evaluationRespond to medical emergencies and coordinate transfers to higher levels of careEnsure trauma-informed, harm reduction, and evidence-based approachesOversee diagnostics including vital signs and breathalyzer monitoringDrive Program ExcellenceEnsure compliance with CODA policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirementsSupport quality improvement initiatives and protocol developmentMonitor and report performance metrics with BRC leadershipCoordinate with Certified Recovery Mentors and clinical teams for referrals and dischargeOperational LeadershipSchedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage, including on-call coordinationSupport protocol, workflow, and documentation improvementsEscalate incidents and partner with leadership on solutionsWhat You BringEducation & LicensureCurrent, unencumbered RN license (Oregon)Nursing degree (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent program)BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)Crisis Prevention Training (within 90 days)Valid driver’s licenseExperience & SkillsDemonstrated progression into leadership or supervisory responsibilitiesStrong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safetyExperience or familiarity with behavioral health approaches such as:Motivational InterviewingTrauma-Informed CareCognitive Behavioral Therapy principlesAbility to remain calm and decisive in high-acuity, fast-paced environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to lead through complex situationsWhy This Role Stands OutThis isn’t a traditional nursing roll, it’s a chance to lead in a specialized, front-line service where every decision matters.
