Full-Time Collections Manager Hybrid Role Oklahoma residency required by start date Qualifications 3+ Years' Collections & Leadership Experience Required Role To preserve the Credit Union's assets by controlling delinquent accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral; hiring, scheduling, training, and monitoring the work of other direct reports; disposing of repossessed collateral and working with vendors in assisting with attaining goals. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job. Essential Functions & Responsibilities 35% Analyze financial situation of delinquent borrowers; take action to repossess collateral when arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful. Direct and indirect oversight of all legal proceeds, bankruptcies and foreclosures. Inform management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged‑off loans. Recommend strategies to address negative trends and isolation of impacting factors and/or risk factors which have been identified. Proactively analyze monthly losses, identifying and projecting subsequent month’s losses and delinquency ratios and numbers. 35% Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of direct reports: conduct performance reviews; allocate resources to meet operational needs within the department; assist CFO in managing vendor relationships to assist in attaining collection goals; review and approve, deny, or modify department recommendations from subordinates. 20% Coordinate repossession, determine further investment (repairs or improvements), and sale of repossessed collateral while seeking to maximize recovery value. Oversee appropriate documentation for bankruptcy accounts. Prepare required documentation for assignment to collection agencies or attorney. Attend court hearings for various legal/bankruptcy files. Oversee preparation of delinquent accounts for charge‑off requests. 10% Attend the Credit Union’s credit manager committee. Vocalize concerns or trends being spotted by collection team and offer suggestions/solutions. Perform quality control loan review sampling on a regular basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr ALLEGIANCE CREDIT UNION
