Senior Platform Engineer

Salary: $140,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• We want an experienced engineer with 5+ years of building, shipping, and operating production software, ideally in platform, infrastructure, developer experience, or a similarly high-leverage area.
• We need a strong software generalist with solid systems knowledge who is comfortable moving between backend services, automation pipelines, infrastructure, and internal tools.
• We expect fluency in at least one modern platform-oriented language such as Python or TypeScript.
• We require experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, as well as containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and modern CI/CD systems.
• We value hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agent-based automation into real engineering workflows.
• We need someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity, breaking down fuzzy problems, and executing with speed and adaptability.
• We look for a product-minded mindset toward internal users, with a focus on usability, adoption, and outcomes.
• We want excellent communication skills, including clear design docs, runbooks, and postmortems.
• We expect a pragmatic approach to operations, with ownership from design through deployment and on-call.
• Nice to have: experience with developer portals, service catalogs, or fleet and dependency management systems.
• Nice to have: experience leading large-scale code migration or modernization efforts.
• Nice to have: familiarity with evaluation and observability practices for AI-powered systems.

• We will rely on you to design, build, and operate the internal platforms our engineers use every day, including CI/CD pipelines, developer environments, deployment workflows, and shared services.
• You will create automation and self-service tooling that removes repetitive, error-prone, or slow engineering work.
• You will prototype and productionize AI-assisted capabilities, including LLM-powered code modification, migration automation, and agentic operational workflows.
• You will take ambiguous, high-priority platform problems from discovery through design, implementation, rollout, and adoption.
• You will contribute to our cloud and container foundations, including Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, networking, and observability, to improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• You will instrument the platforms you build, define success metrics, and use telemetry plus partnership with product teams to shape what comes next.
• You will write clear design documentation and tradeoff analyses, collaborate closely with partner teams, and influence engineering practices across the organization.
